“The worst thing that can happen during the 1980s is not energy depletion, economic collapses, limited nuclear war, or conquest by a totalitarian government. As terrible as these catastrophes would be for us, they can be repaired within a few generations. The one process ongoing in the 1980s that will take millions of years to correct is the loss of genetic and species diversity by the destruction of natural habitats. This is the folly that our descendants are least likely to forgive us for.”
-Edward O. Wilson
“The earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth. All things are connected like the blood that unites us all. Man did not weave the web of life; he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.”
-Chief Seattle

Thank you for visiting my blog, I sincerely hope you enjoyed reading the posts. Currently, I’m a college student and hoping to do something that consists of avian conservation or something to do with birds when I graduate. I believe that too many birds are suffering due to habitat loss and I want to do something to change that. Birds are beautiful creatures and it is highly unfair that we are driving them away for our own selfish progress. It needs to stop.
I have not been birding for very long, so bear with me if I make any mistakes, they are not done intentionally.
Also you can follow me on twitter: http://twitter.com/aboutbirds.
Side Note: All pictures that I will use, unless otherwise noted, will be pictures from my personal collection or pictures with a creative commons license (such as Wikipedia pictures).
